106481 Senior Analyst

POSITION PURPOSE
Provide analytic support in measuring the productivity and efficiency of the store growth initiative, and through collaboration with Strategy and Support group colleagues, provide outstanding customer service to the needs of the RE field team and management.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Produce weekly and ad hoc reports measuring the state of the new store pipeline, Real Estate representative productivity, growth plan fulfillment, and departmental financial performance
2. Assist in business requirement development for data collection, reporting, analytic, and decision support software and other tools
3. Prepare for communication, and often present, store growth reports and analyses that meet the needs of Management, Financial and Strategic Planning, and downstream departments involved in store growth
4. Collaborate, in a team environment, with the Real Estate field team and the rest of the Strategy and Support team
5. Collaborate with other Company departments and functions in understanding their needs for store growth information and to bring insight back to the group
6. Participate in, and potentially lead, departmental process redesign and improvement efforts
7. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by management.

ABOUT THE REAL ESTATE STRATEGY AND SUPPORT TEAM
The Real Estate Strategy and Support Team is a high-performance unit designed to increase the performance of the Real Estate field team and to support the VP of Real Estate in senior management communication and transformation efforts. Primary responsibilities of the group include:
Conducting site performance research and analytics that identify the factors of store sales and profitability
Creating and managing real estate decision support and job execution tools, including, but not limited to, the new store Sales Forecast Model, Real Estate Forum, and mapping applications
Leading and participating in the redesign of departmental and cross-functional processes related to the fulfillment of the store growth plan and the optimization of the store base
Conceiving, planning and conducting education and training events with the Real Estate field team regarding store growth strategy, Network Planning, and the technical aspects of development execution
Supporting Field Real Estate through by-site analysis and the capital approval processes
Reporting on all aspects of Real Estate's progress at meeting goals



EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Position requires a bachelor’s degree with at least 7 years of related experience or an MBA with a minimum of 5 years experience. Prefer experience with multi-unit retailer, operations, and/or strategy consulting. The position requires advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Experience with mapping software and Access a plus. Critical thinking, business acumen, self-motivation, and strong communication skills are a must. Applicant will be expected to demonstrate their ability to design analyses to address strategic business issues in a case interview.
